Money got tight bills were due i went in with all my taxes personal and small business already prepared figuring i would pay the high fees but then be able to get the preapproved loan paid 580 just for the lady to key all my info into there system and file then did everything for the RAL the preparer seemed to have done it correctly and then didnt tell me if we were approved for a loan or no all she said is we would get a text or email within 2 hours here it is 12 hours later not even a approval or denial tried calling all sources alm the offices are closed so this money was a total waste if this loan got screwed up i can just imagine what will be messed up on my return. Lesson learned and i wkll make it a point to make sure every one knows save there money i think a billboard for protester will be nice this is totally wrong

having the same issue, would have done them myself for free but this year IRS isnt giving refunds on EIC until the 15th of February. these Jackson Hewitt people have found a way to scam people to buy their products. the only reason I went was to get the loan, paid $260 and havent gotten anything.

JACKSON HEWITT IS A SCAM AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

Depending on how complicated your return and your situation, if you need a professional to file your taxes, do yourself a favor and contact a CPA. If you are filing a "simple" tax return, there is no reason to pay a someone to file your taxes. As a consumer, you have access to the same information, resources, and guidance online and through tax preparation products as the individuals that are hired off the street and put through a "tax preparation" course.
